A lovely sense of reverence surrounds the Mass and the altar has an air of the 'Garden of Eden' about it thanks to the lovel plant and flower arrangements. My Thanks to those respponsible for my enjoyment of Wednesday morning Mass

Fr John. I think you have a lovely church with lots of various ages and cultures attending mass. I am from Liverpool but work in Hull. Im very lucky as my own church is St Peters and Pauls (Crosby) and the Metropolitan Cathedral are close to my heart. But I really was drawn to you church and I left feeling calm and uplifted. Im hopefully looking forward to sharing midnight mass with you in a few weeks

Parishioners--I hear you may be losing Fr. John at the end of this year. You will be losing one of the most wonderful, dedicated men. When he was transferred form Sacred Heart Parish in America, everyone in the Parish felt the loss. I, to this day feel the loss. He was very compassionate toward my Mother when she was dying. He is truly a Servant of the Lord!

I had been away from the church for a long time and after some time I felt really bad. I have been living in Hull for the past 4 years and I always walked passed this parish. Something at the back of my mind was always telling me to go, but I just couldn't push myself to.
I finally started attending services and thank you to Fr. John for welcoming me.
I feel at home :)
God Bless

I must confess that I was glad to find a catholic church close to my residence (Aukland Avenue).
I became happier to find a happy and lively parish priest like Fr. John.
Less than a month old in the city of Hull, I feel very much at home, because of your warm welcome.
God bless you real Good

Hello Fr John
Can I just say how welcoming you've been to our family at mass not only on Sunday but your Friday morning mass too.
Thank you all also for your prayers for our dear Friends Richard and Lisa who's young son Christian Backhouse (aged 5) still fights in intensive care in Sheffield Children's Hospital. Yours prayers are a strength to us all during this hard time.

God Bless
Adrian
